US condemns the detention of Zion Church leaders in China
Washington, October 12 (Hibya) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the detention of dozens of leaders of the Zion Church, which operates in China without official registration.
In a written statement, Rubio said that among those detained was the church’s well-known pastor, Mingri “Ezra” Jin, adding: “The United States condemns the Chinese Communist Party’s detention of dozens of Zion Church leaders. We call for the immediate release of all those detained.”
