Dar: Our defensive intervention is not directed against the Afghan civilian population
Islamabad, October 12 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan is deeply concerned about developments along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.

In his statement, Dar said: “The Taliban government’s unjustified firing and raids along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border constitute a serious provocation. Pakistan’s appropriate response and actions are directed against Taliban infrastructure and aim to neutralize the Fitne-i Haric and Fitne-i Hindustan terrorist elements operating inside Afghanistan.”
Dar added that Pakistan’s defensive measures are not aimed at the Afghan civilian population.
