Harris: A candidate representing common sense should be supported for the presidency
Dublin, October 12 (Hibya) – Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Simon Harris said during his election campaign in Dun Laoghaire with MP Heather Humphreys that voters from different political backgrounds are acting with a shared understanding.
Harris wrote on social media: “It was great to be on the ground in Dun Laoghaire with Heather Humphreys. There is strong support across the political spectrum for an experienced and sensible candidate to be our next president.”
He emphasized the importance of the country’s next president being “a president for everyone,” promoting community, unity, and equal opportunity.
