President Erdoğan met with Russian President Putin
The President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in China.

President Erdoğan continues his diplomatic contacts in China, where he traveled to attend the 25th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Within the framework of the summit, he met with Russian leader Putin.
Before the meeting, Erdoğan stated: "My invitation remains valid, we are expecting you in our country as soon as possible. We have a sincere relationship based on trust. Our relations continue to progress without being affected by conjunctural challenges. Our technical talks are proceeding positively."
Russian leader Putin also thanked President Erdoğan for his political and diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis.
Before his meeting with Putin, President Erdoğan had also met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan.
