U.S. President Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Phlebitis
Washington, July 18 (Hibya) – The White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic phlebitis, a condition commonly seen in people over the age of 70.
It was reported that the president underwent a comprehensive medical examination due to swelling in his legs, during which the condition was identified.
The White House released a statement from the president’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, stating that no signs of more serious conditions such as deep vein thrombosis were found during the medical examination.
The 79-year-old U.S. President frequently boasts about his good health.
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) occurs when the veins in the legs cannot effectively return blood to the heart. This can lead to blood pooling in the lower legs. In addition to swelling around the feet and ankles, symptoms may include leg pain, a feeling of heaviness or tingling, and varicose veins.
