Ria Novosti: Ukraine recruiting mercenaries in Peru
Moscow, July 18 (Hibya) – According to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian Embassy in Peru is recruiting mercenaries for the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is fighting in the DHC and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
According to the report, the embassy's website includes a link to a portal inviting individuals with military experience to join the 25th Brigade as infantry and drone operators.
Requirements for candidates include “High level of physical fitness and motivation. Military experience and experience with drones.” The job posting emphasizes the urgency of recruitment.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Peru also serves as the diplomatic representation for Ecuador and Colombia.
Russia's ambassador to Bogotá, Nikolai Tavdumadze, told RIA Novosti the day before that Colombian mercenaries are traveling to Europe in groups of 50 to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He stated that Ukrainian special services are actively recruiting citizens with combat experience from this Latin American country.
