Saar: These orders are an attack on Israel's right to self-defense
Jerusalem, November 21 (Hibya) — Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar argued that the International Criminal Court (ICC) orders are not only directed against these individuals but are, in fact, an attack on Israel's right to self-defense.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar said: "A dark moment for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, where it has completely lost its legitimacy to exist and operate. This court has acted as a political tool in the service of the most extreme terrorists, aiming to destabilize peace, security, and stability in the Middle East. The entity called the 'court' has issued absurd orders against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant, despite Israel not being a member of this court and it having no jurisdiction."
Saar emphasized that these orders are not only directed at these individuals but are an attack on Israel's right to self-defense, and added:
"This attack is directed at the most threatened and targeted state in the world and the only state openly called upon for destruction by other countries, with steps being taken toward that end. Morally, this represents nothing but moral blindness that turns good into evil and supports evil. Politically, these orders issued against a state acting in accordance with international law represent a reward and encouragement for the axis of evil that blatantly and continuously violates international law."
