Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei strongly criticized the adoption of an anti-Iran resolution by the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly on human rights.

Baghaei condemned this move as "hypocrisy" and a clear example of using human rights as a tool for illegitimate political objectives.

He criticized the resolution proposed by Canada, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and several other Western states, accusing them of violating human rights and being complicit in the genocide against the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime.

Baghaei reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no effort to protect and promote human rights.
