Putin and Sudani expressed their mutual commitment to further expanding the traditionally friendly and mutually beneficial relations, in line with the agreements reached during their October 2023 meetings in Moscow.

Vladimir Putin and Mohammed Shia al-Sudani discussed various aspects of coordination within the OPEC Plus framework, which helps maintain stability in the global oil market. The leaders reiterated the importance of coordinating steps within this framework.

Issues concerning the Middle East were also discussed in light of the unprecedented escalation of tensions in the region. The parties agreed on future contacts at various levels.
