Borrell: What is happening in Gaza is a man-made tragedy
Brussels, November 21 (Hibya) — European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Josep Borrell said that what is happening in Gaza is a man-made tragedy.
Borrell met with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister for Jordanians Abroad, Ayman Safadi.
Emphasizing that Jordan is an indispensable partner, Borrell said, "We are determined to elevate our relations to the level of a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership. Jordan deserves full support, including its exemplary efforts for peace in the region."
The EU High Representative Josep Borrell stressed that what is happening in Gaza is a tragedy and said:
"United Nations humanitarian operations may have to stop on Monday due to the lack of food and fuel. The delivery of necessary aid is being needlessly blocked or rejected. Looting is becoming increasingly organized. There is no society left in Gaza, only individuals struggling to survive. No one is safe, and nowhere is safe. In the name of humanity: This carnage must stop."
