Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Children must not be excluded from international protection
Ramallah, November 20 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated, on the occasion of World Children's Day on November 20, that Palestinian children must not be excluded from international protection.
In a statement issued by the Palestinian Foreign Ministry on World Children's Day, it was emphasized that children are the most affected and targeted group by the crimes and practices of the prolonged Israeli occupation.
The statement highlighted that children live under catastrophic conditions where their basic rights, especially the right to life, are severely violated:
“The Ministry declared that the genocidal war carried out by the occupation forces against our people in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the forced displacement of 2 million Palestinians, as Israel targets the destruction of homes, schools, universities, hospitals, and places of worship, along with infrastructure and social structures protected under international humanitarian law.”
