Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held a meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam el-Sabbagh, who visited Tehran to consult on bilateral relations and sensitive regional developments.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Syria discussed the current sensitive and critical conditions, including the ongoing crimes of the "Zionist" regime against Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the regime's increasing aggression towards Syria.

The ministers emphasized the necessity of continuing and strengthening cooperation between the two countries and conducting bilateral and multilateral political discussions with Islamic countries to immediately halt the crimes of the "Zionist" regime and assist the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon.
