UN Secretary-General Guterres emphasized that the fair transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources must be accelerated.
Guterres noted that renewable energy sources offer clean air, energy security, and good jobs. "They are also the cheapest source of electricity. The end of the fossil fuel era is inevitable. Let’s ensure it doesn’t come too late," he said.
