Zelensky met with NATO Secretary General Rutte
Kyiv, August 22 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Ukraine.
During the meeting, joint steps to enhance the security of Ukraine and Europe, as well as strategies that could contribute to ending the war, were discussed.
President Zelensky emphasized that diplomacy, security guarantees, and military support for the Ukrainian army were the top priorities on the agenda.
Zelensky noted that European countries had so far provided $1.5 billion in support, thanked all contributing nations, and stated that further assistance was also being sought.
Zelensky also thanked NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte for his support and determination regarding assistance.
