Zelensky: Estonia provides steadfast support for strengthening Ukraine
Kyiv, October 27 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. The meeting focused on defense support for Ukraine and regional security issues.
Zelensky stated that key topics discussed included long-range capabilities, drone production, and overall defense support. He added that they also exchanged views on Ukraine’s cooperation with the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), increasing pressure on Russia, diplomatic initiatives, and Estonia’s priorities during its upcoming chairmanship of the Northern-Baltic Eight (NB8).
Zelensky thanked the Estonian people and government, saying:
“We are grateful to Estonia, which has stood by us since the very beginning of this war. We have always felt Estonia’s support on our path toward European Union membership, in sanction policy, and in assistance to our soldiers. Ukraine can rely on Estonia’s help, and we deeply appreciate this solidarity.”
