President of the European Council Antonio Costa visited the Airbus facilities in Malaysia, accompanied by the heads of missions of EU member states in the country.

In his statement regarding the visit, Costa emphasized that Airbus is an innovative and global company and an integral part of Malaysia’s aviation industry. “Airbus is a symbol of Europe’s success. By combining Europe’s technological expertise with Malaysia’s talent, it supports sustainable growth and shared innovation across the region,” he said.

Costa added that the visit once again demonstrated the strength of cooperation between the European Union and Malaysia and their shared vision for sustainable development.
