The “Zayed Human Fraternity Award” ceremony was held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The event, which was also attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, began with the playing of the UAE national anthem, followed by the screening of a video dedicated to the Zayed Human Fraternity Award.

At the ceremony, where Muslim Council of Elders Secretary-General Mohamed Abdelsalam delivered a speech, videos containing congratulatory messages to the award recipients were presented from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Turkish First Lady Emine Erdoğan, and Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

During the ceremony, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan each delivered speeches. Among the award recipients, Afghan women’s rights activist and researcher Zarqa Yaftali and Nabil Qaddumi, representing the Palestinian organization “Taawon,” also addressed the participants.

At the end of the event, the Zayed Human Fraternity Awards were presented to the winners by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
