Rangel meets foreign ministers of countries elected to UN Security Council
New York, September 21 (Hibya) – Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel met in New York over a working dinner with the foreign ministers of countries elected to the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term.
Portuguese Foreign Minister Rangel met in New York over a working dinner with the foreign ministers of Austria, Trinidad and Tobago, Zimbabwe and Kyrgyzstan, the countries elected to the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term.
The meeting addressed the main challenges to international peace and security, as well as strengthening the United Nations’ capacity to respond to crises.
The participants also exchanged views on how the United Nations’ crisis-response capacity could be strengthened through dialogue, diplomacy and multilateralism.
