State of Qatar welcomes agreement between the US and Iran
Doha, April 19 (Hibya) – The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, stated that the State of Qatar welcomes the statement regarding the understanding reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran during the talks held today in Rome, the capital of Italy.
Dr. Al Ansari said that Qatar welcomes the agreement on moving to the next stage of negotiations aimed at achieving a fair, lasting, and binding deal between the US and Iran.
He expressed hope that these talks would result in a comprehensive agreement that serves the interests of both sides, strengthens security, stability, and peace in the region, and opens new horizons for regional cooperation and dialogue.
Al Ansari emphasized that the State of Qatar fully supports diplomacy and dialogue as a means of resolving all disputes between the two countries.
