Starmer: Bus fare cap extended in the UK
London, August 23 (Hibya) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the £3 cap on bus fares, implemented as part of the government’s transport policies, will be extended.
Starmer stated that this policy has helped reduce transport costs, particularly for workers and families, noting that the plan was introduced with the aim of “prioritising working people.”
The Prime Minister added that continuing this measure will make travel simpler, cheaper, and more accessible for everyone.
