The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said: “Palestinian children are facing the most dangerous violations and crimes due to the ongoing illegal Israeli occupation and its criminal machinery. This occupation has stolen from them their right to life and to live in peace and security. Under colonial occupation, Palestinian children are dying and aging without being able to enjoy even the most basic rights equal to other children in the world.”

The Ministry added that Israel’s ongoing genocidal war has resulted in the deaths of more than 17,952 Palestinian children and the injury of more than 34,000 in the Gaza Strip. Reports indicate that every day, 15 children in Gaza suffer permanent disabilities due to the use of internationally banned explosive weapons by Israeli occupation forces.
