EU Commission President von der Leyen spoke with UK Prime Minister Starmer


Brussels, April 6 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen held a phone call with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Von der Leyen said she discussed the impact of US-imposed tariffs on the global economy with Starmer and expressed her concerns on the matter.

She added that they also discussed security, defense, and the upcoming EU–UK Summit.
