Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the shocking recording of the head of the Jewish Division of Shin Bet, exposed by Ayala Hasson, poses a real threat to democracy.

Netanyahu stated, "In light of this serious recording, the Prime Minister will request a thorough investigation into the activities of Shin Bet’s Jewish Division. In a state governed by the rule of law, citizens cannot be arrested without evidence or held in illegal and cruel detention conditions. Only in dark regimes do intelligence services operate in such a dangerous way. There will be no dark shadow government within Israel."
