President Macron stated that he spoke with NATO Secretary General Rutte, noting that he is preparing for the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing to be held on Thursday in Paris.

He stressed that, in cooperation with NATO, they will work with partners to establish strong security guarantees for Ukraine, and added:

“These are necessary prerequisites for achieving credible progress towards peace. We will also assess Russia’s stance, which insists on an aggressive war and rejects peace. Our unity and determination in supporting Ukraine reflect our unwavering desire for peace.”
