Carney: We are ready to provide humanitarian support to the Afghan people
Ottawa, September 1 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that following the 6.0 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan, the country is ready to provide humanitarian support.
Prime Minister Carney described the aftermath of the 6.0 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan as horrific.
He stated that hundreds of people lost their lives, families were displaced, and society is facing unimaginable hardships. “Canada is ready, through its partners, to provide humanitarian support to the Afghan people in their recovery and reconstruction process,” Carney said.
