Emphasizing their readiness to work together to tackle global challenges, Merz said: “Our economic relations are important. Germany trusts in fair competition and reciprocity.”
Merz also informed Xi Jinping about the joint efforts of Europe and the US to achieve an early ceasefire in Ukraine and called for support for these efforts.
