Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

In a statement issued today, the ministry said that China has filed a request with the World Trade Organization (WTO) for consultations regarding India’s subsidy policies on electric vehicles and batteries.

“India’s relevant measures are suspected of violating multiple obligations, including national treatment, and constitute an import-substitution subsidy explicitly prohibited by the WTO. These practices grant Indian manufacturers an unfair competitive advantage while harming Chinese companies. China will take resolute steps to protect the rights and interests of its domestic industries,” the statement said.

The statement further noted that many of India’s economic and trade measures suspected of violating WTO rules have raised concerns among member states. China called on India to honor its WTO commitments and to immediately correct its course.
