Call from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Intervention
Ramallah, April 19 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for international intervention to stop settler organizations' plans targeting Al-Aqsa.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed deep concern over reports circulating on Hebrew platforms linked to settler groups regarding the bombing and destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the construction of a so-called Temple in its place.
The ministry described this as a systematic provocation aimed at escalating attacks on Christian and Islamic holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
The ministry also urged the international community and relevant UN institutions to address this provocation with the utmost seriousness, to take the necessary measures required by international law to end the isolation policy imposed by the Israeli government on the Palestinian people, and to provide mechanisms for their protection.
