Baghaei condemns Germany and UK’s exploitative stance toward Tehran
Tehran, April 5 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei expressed regret over the misuse of human rights mechanisms by the UK, Germany, and other Western countries to exert political pressure on developing nations.
Baghaei condemned the two countries for proposing a draft resolution against Iran in the Human Rights Council, stating that the resolution lacks legal validity due to the ill intent of its drafters, false claims, generalizations, alleged violations, and contradictory, baseless accusations attributed to anonymous individuals.
He also pointed to the record of human rights violations by the UK, Germany, Canada, and other supporters of anti-Iran resolutions in West Asia, especially the genocide in Gaza and crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the people of Lebanon and Syria.
