Minister Shaheen met with UK Trade Union Confederation Secretary General
Ramallah, April 6 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Farseen Aghabekian Shaheen, met with the Secretary General of the UK Trade Union Confederation, Paul Novak, and his accompanying delegation.
According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of Ambassador Adel Attia, Director of the European Affairs Department.
Shaheen emphasized the importance of international intervention to stop serious violations against Palestinian workers, including arbitrary arrests, mass executions, and the denial of fundamental rights.
The Minister called on the union to step in to support Palestinian workers and employers and to protect their rights.
