Ukrainian President Zelensky visited one of the combat brigades on the Zaporizhia front using HIMARS systems.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to the United States for providing these systems, saying, "HIMARS is a prime example of superior, highly precise, effective, and reliable American weaponry."

Highlighting the critical role of HIMARS in defending the Kherson region from the Russians, Zelensky said, "They also helped thwart the Russian attack on Sumy earlier this year. Now, they assist in defending the most challenging areas of the Donetsk front against Russian attacks. Without these and other powerful long-range weapons, the Russians would have captured and destroyed many more Ukrainian cities and villages. Strengthening positions is the key to guaranteed peace. Russian aggressors can only be deterred by force and compelled to accept peace. And such peace can be achieved through strength."
