Zelensky met with Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen
Kyiv, September 12 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Ukrainian President Zelensky discussed with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen the issue of providing more support to Ukraine.
The meeting also addressed Russia’s drone attack on Poland. Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that the best response to the attack is to jointly strengthen air defense and build a reliable air shield over Europe.
The increase of sanction pressure on Russia was also discussed. The president emphasized that Ukraine expects the European Union’s 19th sanctions package to be adopted as soon as possible.
In addition, the continuation of defense support for Ukraine, Denmark’s participation in the PURL initiative, and joint weapons production were also addressed.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen stated that Denmark has allocated around 10 billion euros to aid Ukraine and assured that his country will continue its support.
