Budrys: An alliance is only as strong as its most vulnerable edge
Vilnius, September 12 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys stated that NATO’s operation called “Eastern Sentry” is a direct response to Russia’s increasing air attacks.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys emphasized that NATO’s “Eastern Sentry” operation is not just a mission but a message.
Highlighting that this operation is a direct response to Russia’s escalating air attacks, Budrys said: “Fast, sharp, and exactly where it needs to be. We are strengthening the Eastern Flank because an alliance is only as strong as its most vulnerable edge.”
Budrys added that they are strengthening integrated air and land capabilities to ensure not only defense but also inviolability.
