Zelensky: Germany’s support for Ukraine is extremely important
Kyiv, October 2 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, provided information about his country’s needs.
Zelensky stated that the meeting addressed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, the provision of Patriot systems and compatible missiles, the implementation of the PURL initiative, the use of frozen Russian assets for Ukraine’s defense and reconstruction, as well as the development of security guarantees.
Thanking Germany for its continuous support, Zelensky said: “Germany is among the leading countries in providing aid. This is extremely important for us.”
