Zakharova: NATO countries once again show disrespect for the NPT
Moscow, October 23 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that non-nuclear NATO member states are once again showing blatant disrespect for the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Zakharova noted that Warsaw’s calls to the United States indicate an attempt to involve Washington in an initiative to deploy U.S. nuclear weapons in Poland.
The spokesperson stated that with such actions, non-nuclear NATO countries are once again openly demonstrating their disregard for the NPT.
