Yermak spoke with Japan’s National Security Advisor Ichikawa
Kyiv, October 24 (Hibya) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a phone conversation with Japan’s National Security Advisor Keiichi Ichikawa.
Yermak announced that he had a phone call with Ichikawa and congratulated Japan on the appointment of its new Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi.
He added that Takaichi confirmed her participation in today’s meeting of the Coalition of Willing Leaders in London, aimed at advancing cooperation. Yermak said he informed Ichikawa about the situation in Ukraine, the challenges at the front, and Russia’s attacks on civilians and infrastructure.
Yermak expressed gratitude to Japan for its steadfast support of Ukraine, stating: “We agreed to maintain regular communication to further strengthen our partnership. Though separated by oceans, Ukraine and Japan share deep common values.”
