The agency stated that due to the ongoing attacks, thousands of civilians have been forced to flee the area, most of them making the journey on foot.
UNRWA stressed that the region is facing a severe shortage of shelters and tents, and that there is no safe place. The agency called for an end to the war and for vital humanitarian aid supplies to be delivered to the area.
