In a post on social media, Sybiha said the meeting was “very productive and comprehensive,” expressing gratitude to Norway for its strong support of Ukraine.

Sybiha stated that Norway has allocated $7 billion in military and technical assistance to Ukraine for 2025 and plans to provide the same amount in 2026. He emphasized that most of this aid will go toward strengthening Ukraine’s defense industry and supporting international equipment supply initiatives. “Last week, the Norwegian government pledged a $200 million contribution to the PURL initiative,” he said.

He noted that the meeting addressed Ukraine’s short- and long-term priorities and that both countries agreed on concrete steps to further advance defense cooperation.

“At a time when Russia continues its brutal attacks on Ukraine, Ukraine-Norway industrial cooperation is becoming increasingly important,” Sybiha said, adding that Ukraine is an integral part of European security and remains committed, with the support of friendly countries like Norway, to achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace.
