Spanish PM Sanchez issues wildfire warning: We are at extreme risk
Madrid, July 18 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez once again called on citizens to remain cautious regarding the ongoing wildfires in the country.
Sanchez said in a statement on social media, "We are facing an extreme risk situation regarding wildfires. I once again urge everyone to be cautious."
Sanchez noted that they are closely monitoring the active fires, particularly in the Alicante and Ávila regions.
Prime Minister Sanchez also thanked all emergency response teams and firefighters involved in tackling the fires, stating, "I thank everyone working in emergency response and firefighting services for their efforts."
