Qatar opens its new embassy in Washington
Washington, October 25 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States, Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani, inaugurated the new building of the Qatari Embassy in Washington at a ceremony highlighting the strong ties between the two countries.
Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States, Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani, officially opened the new Qatari Embassy building in Washington, D.C.
The ceremony was attended by members of the U.S. administration and Congress, as well as prominent political, economic, and social figures, policy advisors, think tank representatives, and diplomats from Arab and foreign missions.
In his remarks, Ambassador Al Thani stated that the new embassy building reflects the strong and enduring relationship between Qatar and the United States.
He added that the new building marks an important milestone in efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two nations and reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to continuing bilateral collaboration in the political, economic, cultural, and educational fields. Al Thani emphasized that the new embassy will serve as a platform to foster mutual understanding and engagement.
