Kristersson: We are helping Ukraine defend its freedom against Russia
Stockholm, October 25 (Hibya) – Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that Sweden’s support for Ukraine is vital for the security of both Ukraine and Europe.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said that Sweden is helping Ukraine defend its freedom against Russia, but also does so for its own security. He noted that while no one knows when the war will end, the way it ends will determine the safety of future generations.
Kristersson confirmed during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Saab facilities in Linköping that Ukraine will purchase between 100 and 150 Swedish-made JAS 39 Gripen fighter jets.
