Putin attended the UN Cybercrime Convention signing ceremony
Hanoi, October 25 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention on Combating Cybercrime, held in Hanoi on October 25, 2025. During the ceremony, Russia’s Prosecutor General Aleksandr Gutsan signed the convention on behalf of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the signing ceremony of the UN Convention on Combating Cybercrime in Hanoi. During the event, Prosecutor General Aleksandr Gutsan signed the agreement on behalf of the Russian Federation.
The convention, initiated by Russia, is reported to be the world’s first global agreement in the field of information security. Putin described the signing ceremony as “a truly historic event.”
