President Erdoğan held a phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Schoof
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. During the call, bilateral relations between Türkiye and the Netherlands, as well as regional and global developments, were discussed.
President Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the strengthening partnership between the two countries and emphasized that steps to deepen cooperation, particularly in the defense industry, would continue.
During the call, President Erdoğan also addressed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, noting that the worsening catastrophe in the region is concerning, and stressed that the plan of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to take full military control of Gaza can never be accepted.
President Erdoğan further stated that Türkiye continues its diplomatic efforts to end the war between Ukraine and Russia with a just and lasting peace, and that in this context, it will continue to contribute to peace initiatives such as the “Istanbul Process,” which it previously hosted.
