Pezeshkian: We will not bow to any power
Tehran, June 15 (Hibya) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran's independence, stating that the country will not submit to any external power, while remaining accountable to the legitimate demands of its people.
In his remarks, Pezeshkian delivered messages concerning Iran's national sovereignty and social responsibilities.
Pezeshkian stated, "We will not bow to any power," highlighting the country's independent stance. At the same time, he stressed that the government bears responsibility toward all segments of Iranian society and must remain accountable to the public.
He noted that supporting the forces serving on the ground for the country's security and defense is one of the state's fundamental responsibilities. Pezeshkian also emphasized the importance of providing logistical support and resources to volunteers involved in defending the nation.
The president further criticized the practice of accusing officials carrying out their duties of serious offenses such as "treason," saying that such accusations are unfair. He added that criticism is a democratic right but must be exercised within the framework of the law.
Pezeshkian's remarks were viewed as a noteworthy message regarding ongoing debates in Iran about domestic politics and national security.
