Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, congratulating him on his birthday and wishing him good health, a long life, and continued success.

In his letter, Aliyev stated that Trump had played an important role in advancing the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States. He noted that the Strategic Partnership Charter signed between the two countries had elevated bilateral relations to a new level.

Aliyev also expressed appreciation for initiatives aimed at advancing the peace process in the South Caucasus, highlighting the importance of the trilateral declaration signed in Washington and the steps taken toward a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The letter also referred to the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP)" project, stating that it would contribute to regional connectivity and the Middle Corridor.

Aliyev emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the fields of trade, energy, investment, security, and technology.
