Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar meets UK Minister for Multilateral Relations
Islamabad, July 22 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with UK Minister for Africa, the UN, the Commonwealth and Multilateral Relations, Ray Collins.
Minister Dar met Ray Collins during the UN Security Council Open Debate chaired by Pakistan.
The commitment to deepening cooperation in economic, trade, and parliamentary engagement between Pakistan and the UK was reaffirmed, and the constructive role of the Pakistani diaspora in the UK was acknowledged.
On multilateral matters, Ray Collins welcomed Pakistan’s contributions to strengthening conflict resolution mechanisms during its presidency of the UN Security Council.
The two leaders discussed regional and global developments, including the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
