Odobescu: Romania is a full member of Schengen
Bucharest, December 12 (Hibya) - Romanian Foreign Minister Luminița Odobescu made a statement following Romania's full membership in Schengen.
Romanian Foreign Minister Odobescu stated that Romania is a full member of Schengen, and land border controls will be lifted as of January 1, 2025.
Odobescu remarked that this long-awaited decision will benefit Romanian citizens and the economy, adding, "Romania's long efforts have been recognized and rewarded."
