Rome, December 12 (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that the data from Italy's National Institute of Statistics (Istat) confirms the good performance of the labor market.
Italian Prime Minister Meloni stated that the Istat data for the third quarter of 2024 confirms the good performance of the labor market.
The employment rate continues to rise, reaching 62.4%, while the unemployment rate decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous quarter, standing at 6.1%. Meloni stated:
“These data represent a very encouraging sign. Supporting businesses that create jobs and wealth is the path we have chosen and will continue to follow because this is the right way to get Italy working again and make it competitive.”
