Mixed performance in currency markets
Istanbul, August 4 (Hibya) - Currency markets showed a mixed but generally positive performance during this week's trading session.
Currency markets traded mixed during the session. The Australian dollar and the euro posted gains, while the British pound edged lower. The U.S. dollar / Canadian dollar pair ended the day unchanged.
The Australian dollar / U.S. dollar (AUD/USD) pair rose 0.29% to 0.7018. The U.S. dollar / Japanese yen (USD/JPY) pair gained 0.21% to 157.49.
The euro / U.S. dollar (EUR/USD) pair edged up 0.0174% to trade at 1.1509.
The British pound / U.S. dollar (GBP/USD) pair fell 0.0298% to 1.3424, while the U.S. dollar / Canadian dollar (USD/CAD) pair remained unchanged at 1.4043.
