Merz: We will continue to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure
Berlin, October 31 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure, noting that the G7 countries have sent a joint message of solidarity on this issue.
In a statement on social media, Merz recalled that the attacks once again resulted in loss of life, saying: “The G7 Energy Ministers have sent an important message of support for Ukraine. Germany will continue to assist Ukraine in air defense and in rebuilding destroyed energy facilities.”
Chancellor Merz emphasized that Russia’s attacks target Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and underlined the importance of international solidarity in responding to these assaults.
